Literacy and Basic Skills

Literacy and Basic Skills (LBS) programs help people improve their reading, writing and math skills for work and life, and are designed for people whose reading, writing, math and essential skills are beginner to grade 9 levels. LBS programs help people prepare for employment, high school credit courses, GED testing and Academic Upgrading. Many people who participate in literacy and skills upgrading programs are often already employed or actively looking for work. LBS programs funded by the Ontario government are FREE of cost.
